Winter 2016 has proven relatively forgiving for wedding photographers and Aoife & Geoff could not have wished for a better day to have their wedding at Clonabreaney House, Co Meath. The day started off cold and crisp with the winter sun eventually burning away the haze and gifting us with a golden light that is evident in these pictures. While sunset comes all too soon in December it just means having to work efficiently and make sure the happy couple get back to their guests in plenty of time to enjoy a cup of tea (etc) before being called for the meal. Clonabreaney House is a well oiled machine which maintains the personal touch. Its such a beautiful venue made warmer and more inviting by the staff that work there and coupled with Aoife’s eye for detail it made this day even more special for the guests that made long and short trips to be there with them. There were tears and laughter on this day, there was also a lovely vibe to the wedding in the church and later in the venue. Sad elements in speeches coupled with hilarious anecdotes made for an honest and enjoyable time for all. Things loosened up somewhat as the day went on (like so many weddings) with the dance images being somewhat more colourful than usual. Kudos to Aoife & Geoff, your meticulous planning was obvious and made for a great day. Thanks for having me along to capture the day!
