Q. How experienced are you?
I have been photographing weddings for many years now and thoroughly enjoy it. My work has been featured in The Irish Times, Hot Press Magazine, The Thin Air Magazine, Metro, Mrs2Be, LoveWeddings and on many highly regarded wedding blogs. I hold a BA in Photographic Media and regularly shoot for publications such as Hot Press and The Thin Air Magazine. I am happiest when I have a camera in my hand and excel in this environment, you will not find a harder working photographer!
Q. Do you take informal / candid images of the day?
Yes, I love these and while its necessary to take some formal and ‘posed’ images on the day it’s the candid and less formal images that really excite. I don’t stop shooting from start to finish.
Q. Are you insured?
Yes, I carry Public Liability and Private Indemnity Insurance.
Q. Is there a contract?
Yes, I will send on the contract once the booking is made and would urge you to reconsider any photographer who doesn’t provide you with a written contract.
Q. How much does it cost?
Full details of my prices, packages, special offers and optional extras are available on the pricing page.
Q. Can we upgrade to a different package after booking?
Yes, of course. That’s no problem at all, just give me as much notice as you can.
Q. Do you provide printed wedding albums?
Yes of course, I offer beautiful albums in a number of different finishes including leather, linen etc. Please contact me directly in relation to this.
Q. How many photographs do you take?
This figure varies depending on options. I normally provide upwards of 400 photographs of your wedding. If you opt to have photographs taken of the speeches and up until the dancing then you can expect more naturally.
Q. When do you arrive prior to the ceremony?
I will arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before the ceremony.
Q. How long does it take to get our images after the wedding?
I aim to have images delivered within 4 to 10 weeks. My average delivery time is 8 weeks.
Q. Do you have backup equipment with you on the day?
Yes! Fear not, I travel with at least two of almost every item of gear. If a camera fails there will be another to replace it. I have a vast amount of photographic equipment with me on the day.
Q. Do you charge for travel?
Not typically. On the very rare occasion that the location is far from home I may request a small fee to cover a Bed & Breakfast close by.
Q. Do we have to provide you with a meal?
No. That is completely your decision and I would never expect that. Also I will never sit in the reception room with your guests, when you guys are enjoying your (well deserved) meal. If I am shooting up until the dancing I will naturally have to source a meal either in the venue or close by.
